I'm not sure I understand what is going on.
I've done everything right so far, but each time I fit the hair onto the pony,Β
either just the outline of the hair
or just the outline of the actual pony change,
Not both at the same time. I've done everything right... At least I thought I did

What does copy and delete mean?

It means you right click and copy the selected piece, then you delete it.

Once you get used to it, the whole process can take just a couple of seconds.

Me? No, I use the straight line tool for most things actually.
