If I recall correctly, Trunks says at some point that Bulma sent him back in time so that there'd at least be one world without the androids, or something like that. Which leads me to believe that Toriyama simply changed his mind about how the timelines work in Dragon Ball.
I picked one version and went with it.

I really like the way you draw the action panels. It looks like it does in the manga too. I think out of this page, I love the first panel the best. It's just a great shot.
And seeing Goku falling in the fourth panel is just funny.

Now this one.
Love the dynamic in Goku dodging and him him getting punched. The first panel really stands out! In the 2nd Goku looks a bit awkward though I think you did great drawing out a full swing pose like that. and yay for the near ground stop~! You know, I'n not a fan of Goku in the dub but I am in the original. He comes across much smart and much more evil (though in a good way) in that version.
Oh Trunks, You've already seriously ruined the time line be saving Gohan. Also neither Krillin nor Gohan have received a Senzu, meaning no Zenkai for Gohan and immobility for Krillin. Piccolo and Gohan are not strong enough to face Nappa thus Trunks will probably have to step in. With Nappa out of the way Piccolo will be free to interfere and I doubt he'll let veji life on whimsical request. Gah! There are way to many variables ><

I never watched the FUNimation dub; I watched the French one first, back when I was a kid, and the Japanese one last year; so I don't really know how Goku comes across in other versions
He's not a favorite character of mine, but he's a likable one, and like you said, he's not as dumb as some people make him to be ^^
As for being evil, I don't really know what you mean. What are you referring to?
And yes, Trunks has already caused some drastic changes in the time line, he just doesn't realize it x)

Well, Not really the evil kind of evil. It's more like 'mean' I guess. The first example that comes to mind is in ep 275. That 'evilish' laugh Goku emits before proposing doing fusion to Vejita and the menacing way he says not to be underestimated before shooting a hole trough Buu's head.

*looks at trunks* B-but didn't you pretty much already screw up the time line *scratches head* Don't get me wrong I'm SUPER happy that Piccolo's alive, but if he's alive they never have to go to planet namek, Freeza might get there first and make his wish for immortality therefore screwing the universe over, and then Gohan wont have to go to namek and will never see the Ginyu force and then the Great Saiyaman will never be born

This is awesome, the way you drew the fighting scenes looks amazing. All the time it took you was totally worth it, here I see the amazing result.
With the story, I love how poor Trunks can't talk with Goku lol, wondering when he's going to be able to tell him, and what will happen after that.

Excellent work SelphieSK, so Goku wasn't actually sleeping and dodge Vegeta's first attack, very nice, and Trunks really thought about k.o. his father but now he wants to wait the outcome of Goku and Vegeta's fight? Trunks... Trunks... you already screwed everything so why not badly injuring your father and knock him out, then put him in his ships sending him away to Planet Frieza nΒΊ (I don't know), tell Goku about the futureeee, spanks Goku leaving him badly injured, kill Piccolo and Nappa and then leave? This is going to fix everything, trust me XD!!! I really can't wait to see what is going to happen in the next page... unfortunately only next month

It's secretly hilarious how Trunks is the most powerful one there, unknown to all of them. Only thing stopping from putting an end to all this is his concern with interrupting the natural course of events. In my opinion, he already has. Good to see another update!
