Description Partially inspired by white blood cells attacking bacterial cells.
According to legend, these white blood cells defend the body by surrounding foreign invaders and by destroying them with the help of enzymes.

Of course, I am more interested in making art that stimulates a discssion about how the, what we do affects the greater "What We Do" moreso than just making art about microbiology.

If you check my Scraps area, I've posted a progression, (or reverse progression) 4 sketches from this work.

Great work...I've always been fascinated with how our blood cells work like soldiers all the time....and we don't even notice it, we look for greater things beyond our eyes when we have this fantastic and amazing world inside of us...

watching the progression of this was amazing...it truly is a lot of work and creativity to get to this...I'm very impressed...

Love the subtlety and the ferocity of the "blood cells"

Great job as always.

Ah ha. I see you are at one with the biology. ( which I guess, being biological leaves you no choice really) but good eyes.
Thanks for checking it out!

even though this is the final piece, i like the colours in the final sketch, dunno why, they just seem to "work"

its still a nice piece though ^^

Thanks, I do tend to shift the colors toward the final, not sure why this is but it happens on occasion.
