I'm really diggin' the upper left quadrant in this image ... mainly the rainbow-like pair of spheres where their membranes intersect.
I like the dark cyan / coppery / rose-blush / almost reverse negative feel to that area of the image.
Very cool.

Thanks it's more valuable to hear the immediate thoughts like that, I think. It's good to know it's connecting at some level with the intended audience. Really glad you stopped by to see it.

You are quite welcome.
I always enjoy giving feedback / constructive feedback to artists here on dA.

Something beautiful but utterly unattainable. First words that popped into my head when I saw it.

Awesome man, thanks for checking it out.
"Paraselene" is quite exactly that. It refers to a halo around the moon.

Nice - those first impressions are lifeblood for the completion of the work, ultimately.

It's like 'the celestial city' rising out of some art studio grunge. When I first saw it I was sure it had been Photoshopped and was amazed to see that it was a fine art print.

To be fair, it is a hybrid so there is traditional printing and digital.
Most of that though, is monotype and basically, paint.

Super...I dig the extraterrestrial vibe in this.

I don't know what to make of this, but it's a beautiful print. Something about it did remind me of this early work by Hipgnosis [link] .

Ah wow. I had never seen that album art. I see what you mean!
Thanks for checking it out. There is nothing more or less to it than what you see.

I liked what I saw or I wouldn't have favoured it. I don't even favour everything I like. As for Hipgnosis, they have been incredibly prolific in the rock album cover field [link] . You will surely recognise a few of these.

Ah yeah, I appreciate it really. Hey, I DO know some of those.
Houses of the Holy for sure. And of course the Scorpions! We had a chance to interview them a few years ago.
The content is offline at the moment but Helnwein did the Blackout cover art and his son Cyril caught up with them for us. Pretty entertaining group of Germans.
AH and Genesis! Niiice abstraction.
