can you explain to me how these digital images are created? Because honestly it looks like a photo. do you make it completely from scratch, is there some template or stock photo used to start with? im lost.

completely from scratch, the objects are all 3D (vertexes/polygons) lit by 3d light that bounces around, the texture on the floor is a wood photo mapped onto a 3d plane
