Its so simple, yet I love it. I think I even would like to have such room/space in my home.

There is this 'realism' factor that you guys have... I want to achieve it !!!
I read in one of your comment about .1 blur.. gonna try it. thanks!!

just takes lots of testing, finding the right angle for the sun, the right camera settings.

nice, but I think the white strip is a bit over-exposed.

sentimentalfreak In reply to 3Dapple [2010-02-14 16:12:51 +0000 UTC]
Thanks. At first I was annoyed and was going to reduce the light hitting it, but I realized in real life, cameras don't have an infinite range of exposure. They can only expose a certain range, ie. [link] / [link]
So I left it as it was, and have tried (though it is hard in 3D) to avoid having everything equally exposed with the same amount of light/exposure.

how do you get such sharp clean wood textures? whats your trick?
i love this scene by the way!!
π: 0 β©: 1
sentimentalfreak In reply to imonkey89 [2009-08-21 12:09:08 +0000 UTC]
Hmm you can set the blur to .1 in the texture settings, probably sharpen it later in photoshop. Make sure you use HIGH res images for the textures in the first place

π: 0 β©: 1
sentimentalfreak In reply to imonkey89 [2009-08-21 14:09:38 +0000 UTC]
just bump, same thing, high res, set to .1 blur
