Felt like giving Artifex a redesign, and I'm quite happy with the result.

Zoey is a junior at Summerfield High School, while not entirely a social outcast, she mostly kept to herself and had very few friends. However, what she lacked in social skills, she made up for in artistic talent. She was skilled in a variety of different art techniques, painting, watercolor, graffiti, sketching, and even digital art. She often spent her free time working on her art, which was mostly creating characters and posting them on her art portfolio, slowly gaining an online reputation under her pen name: Artifex, which is latin for Artist. Whenever she is not drawing or with her friends, she's usually at home with her family, which consists of her mother, her stepfather, and her older stepbrother, whom she was close with. Zoey's life would soon change on the day that her class, and several others went on a field trip to Talon Corp. to learn about future career opportunities. That was the day when Dr. Nebula attacked Talon Corp. headquarters, and the intense battle between him and the rising hero, Omega resulted in Zoey, along with several other students and staff being exposed to an unknown gas that created the first wave of enhanced humans. While some people, like Becky, developed her powers quickly, Zoey's didn't emerge for a couple of months. When they did, she discovered that her body had become very malleable, allowing her to bend, stretch and shape herself into whatever she could think of. Despite this discovery, Zoey took it better than expected, at least after her initial panic attack. At first, she tried her best to hide her powers from everyone, not wanting to frighten her family or be dubbed a freak at school, but it was difficult to control them during her day to day life, such as not being able to grab objects firmly, or parts her body expanding slightly and damaging her clothes. Finally, with nowhere else to turn, she revealed her powers to her stepbrother, who worked as a designer at Talon Corp. He agrees to help her, and swears to keep her powers a secret, knowing full well what would happen if someone like his boss, Cassandra Talon, were to find out about her abilities. He starts to meet with Zoey and helps her to control her powers, while also giving her an advanced nano-weave suit that was just as malleable as she was. Before long, Zoey had full control of her powers and a cool new suit that wouldn't rip whenever she used them.
While she had no intentions on being a superhero, that changed quickly one day when she was in a convenience store during a robbery. Not wanting the cashier to get hurt, Zoey took down the armed robber with her powers and saved the cashier. Feeling a sense of thrill and accomplishment, Zoey began to reconsider the hero gig. And so, using her artistic talents, she gave the suit her brother made for her a colorful makeover, and decided to use her penname for her portfolio as her codename: Artifex. As Artifex, her artistic imagination allows her to come up with creative ways to use her powers. While she knows the basic move sets of any elastic hero, such as stretching, expanding and enlarging, her use in shapeshifting is what really reflects her artistic talents. Viewing her own body as modeling clay, she can shape herself into all sorts of shapes and sizes, though this did take a lot of time and practice to get down. As a sort of theme or calling card, Artifex would sometimes place artistic graffiti around town, sometimes entire walls would become wonderful murals, mostly as artistic expression. This superhero life also changed her normal life as well, as she became more confident in herself and more social to others, even developing a sense of humor. For the most part, she is a solo act and only her brother knows her secret identity. While some would think she should be a member of the Sentinel Corps, I think she would be better off as a solo hero for now, maybe teaming up with Atomic Girl or Ricochet on occasion, that is if she's introduced into the comic.
