I remembered drawing Artifex and Acoustic going at it a while ago, and thought that since these two have gone through some redesigns, I thought it would be cool to do a four scene fight sequence between the two. Took a while, but I finally managed to finish all four of them, starting with this scene here. Wasn't easy, and it took a while to find good references for these scenes, but hopefully you'll enjoy looking at them as much as I did drawing them.

Acoustic, the DJ of Anarchy had just arrived in the Riverside District of Sapphire City, and already he's wreaking havoc, stealing from shops and destroying public property with his soundwave attacks. The police try to stop him, but despite their best efforts, they are no match for his powers. Nearby, Zoey had been shopping for a new sketchbook at the local arts & crafts store when she heard the commotion and decided to investigate. When she arrived, she recognized Acoustic, having read about him in an online article; and she knew just how dangerous he was. Feeling she wasn't ready to take on her first en-human, she was hoping a Sentinel would arrive to stop Acoustic and save the day. However, as Acoustic continued to cause mayhem and put innocent lives at risk, Zoey realized that she couldn't wait until help arrived, she needed to do something, and fast. So, she dawned her costume made by her stepbrother, and stepped onto the scene as Artifex. Acoustic was surprised at first by Artifex, not really sure what to make of her, and believing that Riverside would be an easy score. However, after being beaten before by Atomic Girl, that confusion turned to annoyance, as he was not down with getting beat by another girl in a costume. Despite being nervous, Artifex stood her ground and the fight was on.
