While a certain red-headed hero was lucky enough to be trained by professional fighters and veteran soldiers, Artifex was not as fortunate to have a teacher to show her the ropes of being a crime fighter, she had to learn on her own. Fortunately, Artifex is a fast learner, and with the help of her older stepbrother, she honed her fighting skills at the makeshift obstacle they made together. Using old test dummies from the Talon Corp. lab that her stepbrother worked at, and watching online videos of martial arts for beginners, Artifex began to hone her fighting skills. This was not an easy task however, as she had no previous fighting experience. Not only that, but she still didn't quite fully understand her elastic abilities. She constantly had to keep reminding herself that her powers weren't something separate from the rest of her, but rather a part of who she is. Slowly, she began to mold her elastic abilities with her newly acquired knowledge in martial arts, and created her own unique fighting style. As a result, she began creating her an assortment of moves for her to try out on criminals when given the chance, such as the one seen above. Against multiple opponents surrounding her, Artifex uses a move that's simple, but effective, in which she gets into a handstand and rapidly spins her waist around, storing energy from the tension. And, like a rubber band helicopter, she unwinds her waist and turns her legs into a propeller, striking any foes within it's radius, and with her outstretched legs, it's a wide radius. While Artifex may be becoming a skillful fighter, she still has a lot to learn, such as coming up with better names for her moves.
