Been wanting to do a scene like this for a while, so I commissioned AceJoes to draw it, and like the previous image, they did not disappoint.

While Voo'Han values and respects each of his comrades on the Sentinel Corps team, he's taken a particular interest in Apex in regard to his training. Apex hates what he has become, he constantly struggles to keep his animalistic tendencies in check, fearing what would happen if he lost control, again. His therapy sessions with Aurora have helped him improve, but he still has a long road ahead before he feels like he's in total control of himself. While the rest of the team feels that Apex is improving, Voo'Han however, sees otherwise. He sees it in Apex's movements as he fights, his brief moments of hesitation and his unrefined and sloppy movement made it all too clear to Voo'Han. Hence, Voo'Han took upon himself to train Apex whenever he had the opportunity. However, while Aurora was trying to help Apex surpress his anger and animal instincts, Voo'Han was trying to teach him how to embrace them. As a hunter and warrior race on a planet where everything wants to kill you, Voo'Han knows full well that to ignore your instincts, to fight your own nature, is a good way to get yourself killed, and fighting dangerous criminals on any planet is no different. During their occasional sparring sessions, Apex could match Voo'Han and possibly beat him due his enahnced abilities, at least on paper, but Voo'Han always beats him easily. Voo'Han's years of combat experience obviously plays a factor to this, but Voo'Han always tells Apex the key reason why he'll always lose against him, "You were fighting two battles, I only had to fight one."
