It's exactly what The High Republic would have felt like to most of us. Having to go and do research about the backstory of the events of a piece of what should be a Standalone piece of Media is not a good way to try and bring in your audience. I had to do this in Highschool, and now I cannot look at Amazing Grace the same way ever again because I have to suffer the memory of having a pre-paid ticket and hunching over a 25 Q&A Paper to write down what happened in the movie.
