Finally got back to the figure drawing sessions at the nearby community college. I'm unhappy with the shoulder, and the treatment of the negative space could be more consistent, but overall I'm happy with it. I changed the broom she was holding to the staff.Related content

The legs are the best part, especially the inside of her left knee and the weight of that heel against the floor. And the buttocks look three-dimensional (I was going to say that they look pinch-able -- of course I mean that strictly in an artistic way).

Thank you. And I wouldn't have dreamed of interpreting that pinch-able comment in any other way.
The best lighting fell across the legs there, so once I had the basic drawing down that's where I started working out from. Another half hour or so would have seen a lot more fleshing out, so to speak.
