You seriously do not know how much I love this. I saw this back when I didnt have a dA account and I've used the analogy ever since (to explain how I feel) and now I found it yet again =] -fave!-

Thanks - I'm glad it's useful. It's to describe the word "dysthymia" without actually using it.

Thank you. I have no idea if it would connect with the autistic experience, but it wouldn't surprise me.

The way its written and drawn, makes ME feel like i can see and feel the saran wrap around you. Im familiar with the feeling as well. Everything is muffled. Some people call it a wall around themselves but that never seems true, thats too solid and not flexible enough.

Thanks for the comment. Finding good reference for the saran wrap was an adventure.

This reminds me of that M. C. Escher drawing of the two hands drawing each other.
I was curious about that mysterious cut-off panel at the top, and then I got to the end and Oh hey!
I can totally relate to the saran wrap thing. Except for me it's more like fog, sort of.

I like how the second-last, last, and first thumbnails are connected.
It's quite nice, I think.

That's OK. It's the comic produced by the main character. He does this comic over lunch to try to explain the feeling and spills some food on it at the bottom.
