Description
Menaka is an apsara - a handmaiden in Indra's court - sent down distract an ascetic sage who was making too much progress with his meditation.This is an illustration for a card game I've been working on for a few years. Players try to capture mythical creatures and figures, and one of the cards is of the apsara.
Done first in pencil and then colored in Photoshop, leaving the pencil in place.
