It is TL in the form of a set of maps, which tells about the alternative future of the Earth from 2036 to 2151.PoD - The Great Depression destroyed the old world order in 2014. Only the EU, China and India were able to survive the crisis and became the new superpowers. Soon they unleashed a new cold war.

How did the Chinese beat the Europeans (and sequentially lose it all in the end?)
What was the Kus'ma strike? I've kind of assumed a directed meteor strike but just want to confirm
How did civilization survive the death of some 4 billion people, and the presumed nuclear/asteroid winter?

Zerg rush. Chinese had more GMO soldiers than combat drones in Europe. But the Chinese economy suffered catastrophic losses after the end of the war. India decided to attack China before it recovers. Also, many allies turned away from China. This helped the peoples of the Earth to throw off the Chinese yoke.

You're right. This is an asteroid with a diameter of 500 meters, accelerated to 60 kilometers per second

These were tough times. The economies of the great powers lay in ruins. They were replaced by others who suffered minimal damage: Egypt, Britain, Siberia. Space colonies helped to revive the economy and industry of the Earth, eliminate radioactive contamination, restore the environment.

Asteroid winter lasted only a few years. Since in the 21st century on Earth it has become much warmer, the global cooling has made the climate the same as in the 20th century. This can be seen in the sea level, which has returned to its present state.
