Pretty standard stuff from me, but I really wanted to try to mix up the compositions in my drawings a bit. This picture was mostly a test to see the clashing between horizontal and vertical lines, large and small, foreground and background. Originally done on Tegakie, then improved in watercolor.(It's Shadow of the Colossus fanart, by the way)

I like the simplicity of it. It makes you think more about the mood and the picture as a whole.
I'd say that SotC has more of a green/grey palette, but I think your choice of colours is really great none the less. I'd be much harder to achieve the coldness if one were to use green instead of blue.

I knew it was Shadow of the Colossus fanart the moment I saw the thumbnail. That shows that you really caught the empty, ominous, and strangely optimistic feel of the opening scene of the game. Great work!

I loved sotc's scenes. They were quite beautiful. I have a bit of sotc influence... and lots of myazaki, and bits of everything in my recent stuff. I went really sotc in this one though.
