Description Thought I'd share this with you. Wireframe of a 3D bug that I'm working on, doing some texturing now and bit of animation.
Working on making some of the parts glow, blender is not making my task easy. e___e

If you need any help with Blender, hit me up. I don't have any official education on it but I do have years of experience on the program.

Thanks! The nodes are now mine main gripe, trying to make parts of the texture glow and I got something but not sure if it's still right.

The easiest way to make something glow is to go into Cycles render and make a material with the emission shader.
If you want to do it in Blender render, under the material tab there is a Shading part with an Emit slider. Bring that up and the material will emit light. To make it light up other objects, though, you have to go into the World tab and tick Indirect lighting on. Under indirect lighting, Gather now becomes available. Just set it to Approximate.
