Oops, forgot to add something. Seeing the countries in this form, offering helping hands to one another as individuals and sporting the scars of wounds of their hardships makes it so much easier to feel the generosity/kindness/brotherhood/selflessness than just reading about countries offering aid. It's gives it something so much more human that we all can empathize with. This kind of art about the real world is just as amazing an addition to the Hetalia fan community as the rest. :')

A-awwww! Looking at this comic, right now, I'm crying, and I haven't even finished it yet. You drew their expressions really well; it opens the doors for a real connection. I think that the embodiment of the world in these personages makes world affairs easier to bear. The last panel with them all behind in so heartwarming.
Just when I start to lose faith in mankind and his actions, things like these (the generosity of Japan and US and other countries, and of Taiwan in this most recent Japan disaster) helps me to have hope for the world and pride in my own country again. Thank you! :')
