Description
I did an influence meme! What have we got here?
Well....
CLAMP. Definitely the biggest influence in my artistic life. I still remember, years and years ago, doing my first manga-style drawings, based on images from my Cardcaptor Sakura comics. Magic Knight Rayearth was a huge influence as well (the eye-style!), as was XXX Holic. I love CLAMP, both for their art-styles and their wonderfully intriguing stories.
The Slayers. Again, a HUGE influence on my artwork. It was my first huge anime addiction, and is the reason my art tends to look more anime-like then manga. I taught myself to draw from Slayers art-books and character guides.
Walt Disney and Studio Ghibli. Love them both, for different reasons. It was probably watching Disney movies that got me interested in animation in the first place. I have a lot of love for the old Disney movies I grew up with, especially Aladdin. Studio Ghibli is just amazing. There illustrations and stories are both top-class.
Shonen Jump. There are SO many "Shonen" series I love. I adore the gutsy hero's who kick ass for their friends. Much love for One Piece, Naruto, Hitman Reborn, Fairy Tail, Defense Devil, Bleach, D.Gray-man, Soul Eater.
Meru-Puri, Marchen Prince. I ADORE Matsuri Hino's artwork. Vampire Knight might be her more popular manga, but I still love Meru-Puri the best.
DragonHeart. I love, and am still so touched and inspired by that movie. Not only do I adore dragons, but I also love Arthurian legends. This film not only encapsulated both beautifully, it also had Sean Connery! This can also be seen as a symbol for Dragons in general, since I love, and am inspired by MANY dragon-related things. Also a symbol for fairy-tales.
Books! Because I am a HUGE bookworm. My favorite authors are Chris d'Lacey, Terry Pratchett, Eric Frank Russell, Brian Jacques, and Robert Asprin. I could not exist without the inspiration and joy I get from reading stories, and writing my own tales.
Pokemon, honorable mention for being the first "anime" I ever watched. Without it I may never have got into anime and manga.
Shugo-Chara. I love Peach-Pit's work, but this is also a symbol for Shojo manga in general. I love magical girl tales, and sappy romances. Sailor Moon, Nanoha, Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody Pichi-Pitch, Saint Tail, Pretty Cure...there are so, SO many I like!
Avatar, The Last Airbender. Because it rocks in so many ways. Artstyle, story, characters, martial arts, elements, legends, it has it all!
And...the artists that inspire me!
I love Kaze-Hime's soft artstyle, I adore Sakuyamon's work, Svetlana is awesome for creating Dramacon and Nightschool, and Rolly and Kaoru's work is incredible.
And finally...music and tea. Because both are essential for me to create anything.
And now you know a little bit more about me.

Lol at the pokeball, and love for Sean Connery. Whenever I see that movie on tv, no matter how far into the movie it is I always turn to it and watch it. The end always give me shivers.
