Qoute: J.W. EaganHow many people know some people that dislike a book cause some people had to make a bad movie of it? To be truthful, I haven't. Though with so many bad movies that were based on the books I can't say that there aren't any that would do this ^^

Some people tend to judge Sailor Moon manga purely by the anime even though the manga version is much darker than the anime.

It's true, what the stamp says. I've read plenty of books that have awful movies. I learned my lesson years ago after I read, Stephen Kings: Needful Things and then roughly a year later, the movie was made and it was ... bad? I'm not sure that's a strong enough word!

I'm sorry, but you should have said "its" rather than "it's" because "it's" is incorrect. "It's" means "it is" wheras "its" means "something that belongs to it."

I shudder to think of the Eragon movie (book was good, movie sucked so bad, even people who never read the book hated it)
It is rare when a movie actually is better than the book (a good example is Coraline. Dont get me wrong, the book was good, but the movie was a lot cooler)

It was cute, and all (the scene in the book with the Other Father was a bit of Nightmare Fuel, kinda worse than the movie) but other than that, the movie is a lot better (but, I do encourage you go get it. I got my copy for like, 6 bucks at the local borders)

Oh, really? (I've been reading it. It is pretty good, and then I learned there was a manga version.
Guess what I am getting the next time I go to the bookstore XD)
My parents dont mind my manga/anime addiction, since it means I dont have the money to do drugs or anything bad XD (I spend it all on video games, manga/anime, and Doujinshi XD)

The Eragon movie literally wrote itself into a corner. They skipped enough vital details (Elva, to name one) that they can't do the sequel without serious editing.

They took out Solembum, he's my favorite character and also very important.

I have seen the movie but I have yet to finish the book, but I hope I would be able to finish reading Eragon soon. Movies usually take a lot of stuff out that was in the book and most times they take out the important stuff.
