I hate it when people smack their food. It annoys the hell out of me.1) Noone wants to see what you are eating. That is disgusting
2) That smacking noise is annoying as hell to listen to.
3) Smacking your food like some animal is just rude as hell IMO. Learn some fuggin table manners for pete sake.
And to answer some peoples questions that may disagree
Q: If you can't stand the smacking than leave the room.
A: If you insist on eating like an animal than go outside away from society and do so.
Q: But I am sick and my nose is stuffy and I can't breath. I kinda can't help but to chew with my mouth open at the moment.
A: Well, then...... I suppose your excused from this then
Q: But it makes the food taste better
A: Believe it or not, I got that from alot of people. But, if you insist on eating like an animal than go outside away from others and do so >(
My point, smacking your food like a damn cat or dog = NO. You got lips, keep the damned things closed when you eat.
If you feel insulted by this whole thing, than my apologies, but the smacking needs to stop. Seriously :/

One of my brothers does this at the table. It frustrates me so much that I feel like tearing out his jaw because it annoys me so badly X(

Absolutely disgusting. I have to leave the room when someone does it for fear of wanting to punch them. Other pet peeves: talking with food in your mouth, pushing food on to the fork or spoon with a finger, and scraping the plate, especially to get every last morsel. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil.

In my family (and in Polish culture in general, I think), chewing with your mouth open and smacking your lips is considered extremely disgusting and pig-like; you'll be told to stop as soon as someone notices it. xD

ugh, Chewing with mouth open is my NUMBER ONE HATE! I have to stop myself shouting or hitting someone at dinner time when my sisters are eating

Thank you! I absolutely hates it when people smacks.... It gives me the creeps, to the point im almost ready to leave the room, we have a couple of girls in the class that does it... and just ewww xD
On a side note; the reason people say the food taste better when they do it, is because they "taste" it as much with their smell as with taste buds

Eh heh. Guilty. I do honestly TRY to chew with my mouth closed, especially in public, but it's also a habit, and like any habit, it's hard to break.
