This guy sort of just sprang out of my head a couple of nights ago. Bushido is a warforged samurai. I took my time with his armor, referencing many different samurai armor pics. I decided not to make his head in the style of samurai helms, mainly because I thought that would make normal social interaction rather difficult since he couldn't take it off.For those who don't know Japanese, the two Kanji you see are on his forehead (life) and on his war flag (shogun).

Thanks! The wood is actually part of warforged anatomy. It's kind of like their muscle, which is what I was going for.

It worked very well. My recent steam powered guy started out as a warforged with wood as the connecting material, but the further I went along, the more I liked drawing hoses and chains instead.

I think that's one of the cool things about making Warforged: there are no set in stone rules about what they have to be made out of.
