fullview for detail, I put alot into this.I've never submitted anything as a print, and don't know that there's a market for this, but it would be cool to sell one, so I'll give it a shot.
This was a project for my fantasy art class, meant for a magic the gathering card. I used some new painting techniques here and like the result.
Don't steal this, that is don't claim it as your own or profit from it. Of course I prefer if you buy a print, but if you just print it out yourself its fine if you at least tell me you like it, I'm a sucker for flattery

You sure did put a lot of work into it. It shows. Nice painterly fur. At first I wasn't sure about the tight gurdle like ab plate but now I see it ad a unique feature that add a bit more fantastical look. I would suggest you use a softer brush for the fabric in general but mostly on the cape.

Thanks for the comment! I started to smooth out the cloth but decided I liked the painterly texture. It doesn't fit the rest of the image, but it's a style I hope to develop in the future so I left it, if only to look back at it later.

I love the reddish-orange colors you used in the mane and shadows/highlights. Definitely an excellent piece of work!

I definitely thought of Jareth when I was working on it, though I resisted the urge to look at the card. Its supposed to be pride guardian to be specific, I think its a cheap common defender card, though in my head I think of him as like a 4/6 defender with first strike and life link that comes out for 3, because that would rule.

Yeah, but it would own the crap out of other defenders like Soulsworn Jury and Guardians of Akrasa. I took a look at the guardian and I definitely see the influence. Front perspective warrior posed for combat. I love the details on his anatomy, specifically the middle arm and the wrists.
Personally, I love Pride Guardian. I still ask why there's not a mono white control in classic pauper.
