His one wing was amputated after a car hit him. Which is why he is a resident of the Environmental Center and teaching bird.

I've seen hawks a couple times in the past, not really sure what types they were, and I doubt that I'd taken pictures of any (but if so, I guess I don't have them now)
Looks like it's snowing pretty hard. (I don't know if I ever got a good picture of snow before. It likes to shrink - like the moon - unless you zoom in enough.)

I'm sure he would love to fly at all-but he was injured and had one wing removed to save his life.
Sad-but, he seems pretty happy with all the people attention he gets.
