My final storyboard for my pre-production class. At first I wasn't really sure about the story but after some feedback and changes I'm happier with it. The class itself was amazing in that it got me to not only tell but show stories, something I've struggled with. But now I definitely have a newfound appreciation for good cinematography and more confidence in my work.

The story originally revolved around the theme of false expectations (bullies pressuring a fatter character to dive, expecting he/she would fail when they are actually a fabulous diver) but evolved more into how people grapple with their fears. I owe the ending to my prof: Everyone saw the high dive as a towering beast, but it wasn't until the MC conquered her fear that she saw it as it really was by the end.
