Description
This page of awkward dialogue is brought to you by a "work-by-day and pass-out-by-morning" person, or rather: me. That pale pony, Mel? The "lady-killer" wannabe? His hair is the most frustrating thing to draw. Honestly, I went a bit overboard with the spikes. Don't get me started on the shadows.Twilight doesn't lock her door apparently. You can just rush in anytime of the day and take a shower in her tub. If you're wondering why Rainbow is in the shower, it's because when I have a problem or fear, I go have a really long shower. By the end of it, I usually have a solution to the problem. Also, I just wanted to draw Bonsai trees. Twilight is Mr. Miyagi.
Big thanks to my pre-readers. I cannot spell "conveniently" without help it would seem.
Oh, and The final episodes of Breaking Bad come out tonight! That's a thing!

Sonata's going to be pissed that nobody invited her to Taco Tuesday.
Twilight numbers her steps? Allow me to pretend to be surprised.
Careful, Dashie, that water looks pretty hot. Some showers can produce water hot enough to scald; don't hurt yourself.

I'm trying to stop reading the codes. I really am. They just aggravate me too much. Like how one form of F I've seen is identical to one form of T I've seen, and the other is identical to one form of R I've seen, for example. It makes the reading . . . interesting, to say the least.

I don't see where or what this secret code is on the stairs but I do find it amusing that I seem to be the only one who noticed The Cupcake Chronicles book on the shelf. It's actually the first thing I noticed.
It's stuff like this that I'm glad I decided to go through the pages again because now that I know the story (so far) and dialogue, I can notice the small things like this.....and I also just now realized that I made a comment about TCC 3 pages ago. How fitting.

Does anybody not read all the book titles? I can't imagine why somebody would just skip stuff like that.

You have no idea how long I have been looking for this song! Thank you so much for being coincidental.
The song kind of fits, doesn't it? Although I generally like this particular one while working: www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1A_8-…

I don't know if it's just me, but for some reason I can't read some words that Mel's friend is saying when Twilight leaves. Maybe it has something to do with my computer.

Probably, although I know for a fact that the font size is smaller on some of the bubbles, so that might have something to do with it.

I notice on a bookshelf under the stairs a nice collection of "grimdark" pony stories - Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, Rocket to Insanity... hell of a books to kill boredom.
I also wonder about these weird symbols on the stairs. I have this feeling, they will have a bigger role later.

You'd think Twilight would be able to tell the difference between smoke and steam, being regarded as a reasonably clever pony, but otherwise, a great chapter.

The shower thing is defined as "Shower of Angst" by TVTropes. A very effective tool, if I do say so myself! The fact that her wings are drooping down and that her mane and tail, once radiant and beautiful, are now ragged displays of fear, instability, and despair adds to that effect even further! All in all, another excellent page!
And I know about that secret code on the stairs, but does the address have any real-life meaning, or was it random?
Finally, as per tradition with me: Where is the quote from?

The code on the stairs will have some meaning later on, yes.
And the quote is from The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was describing the way the Vogon ships flew over the Earth.

I meant Twilight's address, on the outside of the house... library... big tree... thing.
I really need to check out that series. It just won't leave me alone! Sort of like...

And if you do try out HGTTG, be sure to get the book that includes all five books. Makes for easier reading.

I will! Thanks for that!
I asked about the address because sometimes, authors and artists use them for Easter Eggs. Like how Charles M. Schultz used his old address in one of the comics.
