Description Like all my drawings her eyes were the most important that I get them right. In the picture - she has this sad, yet challenging look about her. I tried to capture more of the sad side and the slightly defiant tilt to her head. Lips, nose, and hair are always a challenge and this is one of the few drawings where I'm actually comfortable with the way they turned out.

I just saw her in MAXIM today. She's hot. So is your drawing of her.

I like how the hair is sharp and dark framing the face. It make her face pop out more towards the foreground. Making for more of a 3-D effect.

Thank you very much! I tried very hard to capture her "kickass" type persona. She was a cool character on the Dark Angel TV show.

great! you can really tell what mood she's in.

the strong shading between mouth and nose sugests that the muscle are in tension. imo this adds to the expresshion...

is that that girl from dark angel? Havent seen the show, but it looks really portraitlike. I would love to see it in a bigger resolution! Impressive how evenly you get the penstrokes, thatΒ΄s a big issue for me. Guess im using bad pens perhaps.. oh wel.. this is awesome!

nice work! the shading is amazing. i think that once u draw the eyes in, the picture starts takin shape...i definetly agree on getting the eyes right! maybe work on getting the nose a little better, but overall its awesome. peace.

Wow. From the thumbnail I expected a photo gone slightly wrong. I think you need to work on the area between the nose and lips.. thats all that struck me as looking a bit odd Hair looks great! and very livce eyes
