Portrait of the Alias *IT* girl.Her hair was exceptionally difficult, but after working with it for a number of weeks I've finished and decided to mess with it no longer.

Get ready for some criticism now... Don't take it personal, it's meant to be constructive, and feel free to hammer any of my work afterwards...
I like your drawing, though something seems rather off about the left side of her face (her left side, not ours). I kinda expect a part of her left ear to be visible, when the hair is drawn back like that. And unless, she's raising her left eyebrow, the left eye seems a little misplaced. The face could also use a tad more shadowing... As could the hair, but hair is not easy, I know
Otherwise, I find it hard to criticize any more... I love the eyes, the nose and the lips.

I know what you mean about the eye, there is something off that wasn't apperent while I was drawing. Hair is always torture to draw, lol. However the photograph doesnt' show her ear.

You are so great at capturing the human face, I have to give you that. You should go into portraiture or somethig like that. You can really see the detail you put into your work with those skilled pencil strokes. It must take you ages! Great sense of shade and shadow as well. It's really amazing. I wish I had that same minute attention to detail you have. It's mindboggling.

Anyhow, thanks for the comment. The reason why I seem to draw the characters with such apparent ease is because, basically, I'm obsessed. It works the same with writing. If you're obsessed with something, you tend to put your heart and soul into expressing it. That's my secret anyhow
