Painted reference sheet commission for kwsapphire !Accidentally flattened the image in low resolution yesterday meaning I had to go back to my last weeks backup and catch up with yesterdays work so I could upload the final in full res, so finally finished after about six months!

I see why it took a while to get done, all these tiny details and painting style, which looks really unusual as refs tend to be lineart + flat colours.
Shame you didn't include mermaid and centaur forms :3c

I adore your smooth painting style on this especially on those back fins and the small and detailed feathers on the torso and neck! The blue has such a sweet pastel-crayon-effect which really fits the overall look of the sheet very well! The anatomy is just gorgeous and I love the close up of the feet! I personally don't like characters with lots of really different shapes but you portrayed each of them very lovely and outstanding like the small fairy-'thing' (soz xD).
Do I understand it right that when she has those fins simply closed 'backwards' horizontally she is happy? Or does she also lift them vertically?
Plus the laughing/grinning headshot is adorable! N I love thos small blue-jay-ish birdies sitting on the nagas hands and the one flying around *-*

Thank you hun! Her fins can be held upright and horizontally, its just that I displayed the moods along with her holding one of her sails to the left to show that they arent static. I think they are held this way more for temperature control.

Holy mother, dear you have no idea how amazing this looks! It's like you have made a mountains legth of progress since you've uploaded your last drawing. It's astonishing how realistic your painting style suddenly became; the way you have drawn the feathers is so clean and pleasing to look at and all the various forms of the character really show your gigantic skill set. Also, the overall layout of this sheet makes me want to read and look at every little detail. Seriously, you became such a gorgeous artist over the last years, despite your ups and downs you never stopped showing progress in your art, which is something I admire to this day. Please keep this motivation for ever <3
