When The lion king was just a rip off of kimba the white lion

It was a ripoff, it's hard to deny that, but it wasn't "just a ripoff". The Lion King used a lot of the same scenes and characters, but reimagined them in a different context.
It would have been nice if Disney gave credit to 'Kimba the White Lion' as a source of inspiration instead of denying the connection, however to say 'The Lion King' was unoriginal is unfair. It removed a lot of things from the original and also added a lot too, it told its own story and was valuable in its own right.
Yes, I think The Lion King was heavily inspired by Kimba, and yes I think credit should have been given. However I don't think that takes away from either series, they are both great series that have a lot of value and the shady actions of executives at Disney don't take away from that at all.

Nice. This stupid war about The Lion King being a rip-off of Kimba The White Lion needs to stop. There is no solid evidence of it and it's getting annoying.
