My entry for 's big fish collab!

So I herd u liek Mudkipz? If you remember that, congrats, you're old.

Mudkip is such a good Pokemon and I was happy to draw it. As a design it's pretty simple so I thought I would use this opportunity to see if I could do a Pokémon illustration like this with my iPad. And it worked out great! I thought I would miss at least one of my Photoshop brushes but no, Procreate really has my basic needs covered.

As for the design itself, I based this Mudkip on the axolotl and mudskippers. Nothing too tricky there. I had a bunch of funny Mudkip sketches and it was really hard to choose just one but this fellow in particular had a nice feel to it so it got picked.
