The bar of Understone had its most talkative lot set up, not that there were that many of them. The Bard honestly wondered how many of the settlement's inhabitants could still speak coherently, let alone be eager enough to talk about something. Regardless, whatever those around him were speaking about was beyond his understanding.
Still he joined in. Maybe there was no meaning behind the words, but it was a strange comfort speaking aloud after weeks upon weeks of silence on the trail. It seemed the Bard could be quite the chatter box when his life wasn't in immediate danger. Who knew?
He certainly didn't.
