It was like 3 days ago at midnight that I was like hey. Let's just do a Warriors picture. So I did. I wish it was only 2 days of work, but it became 3... Damn clouds >_<So basically this was practice, and I used the same fur technique I learned from painting Fangeh's gift. I don't think I learned anything about clouds from Myklor's though lol... Anyways I perfected it a lil better, and found out the faster I paint the more interested I stay : ) So maybe yall can use that. : )
For yus who don't read the book, the big yeller one is Tigerclaw and he was a bad kitty and then he died. Brambleclaw there is his son and nokitty likes him because of his daddy

The annoying part about the books though is that they leave a lot of description out. Like a prominent character all the way from book 1 I pictured short furred and tan, until book 13 when they said he was black and white and fluffy. So, In this picture they just said the two had tiger stripes n stuff, so I pictured them how I wanted to, and this is how they look to me. Everyone will picture them differently

Tigerstar is somebody's father. A) Though the book portrays him as evil, not everyone is completely evil. B) In reality, Satan is beautiful and was once an angel. C) Why do you a care? It's a childrens series that I decided to give an illustration to almost 4 years ago.

(b)i know that and me my self believe he was just way to ambitious but that dosen't change the fact that he had many cats killed for that ambition (c)i said demon not satan, very diferent body types (d) and i do care because i'm a major fan of the series, and i am practically still a kid

Whatever kind of cat he was in his past life doesn't make a bit of a difference if he's portrayed as a celestial figure here. Trying to make other people's ideas align with yours? Knock it off, this a drawing I did, I portray it how I want.

Awesome detail. :3 I love how the thin streaks of light come from the moon.
But somethiing I don't geeet.. How can you confuse the colours of the characters? XD The first few pages of the book describe the character's names, and coat colours/lengths.

The one I got confused with was the leader of windclan, I forgot his name. But I thought he was shortfurred and tan or something, but he was white and fluffy! Many other minor characters weren't elaborated on like main characters.

Tallstar? No, he was always black, white and fluffy.Now Brindleface was one of those characters-some say she is grey, spotty,stripy,brown,patched,black and white,and torti. She is, of course, brown and stripy(because it says so in the alligences) but people dont get that.

well, they were prone to gving you a big block of info that was easy to forget, but now they give it a little at a time, reinforcing that same image whilst giving new info at the same time.

Now that I think about it, you're right- he wasn't a big character for quite a while. They seem to describe characters when they begin to take over the plotline.

I also noticed the writers themselves wrote wrong descriptions many times for the characters. Mostly with eye colour, but occasionally with fur colour too. Not that that bothered me much.

Yeah! I remember picking up some inconsistencies too, and spelling errors, but that is another story. When I read them, it felt like they were pumping the books out, rather than writing them with love. Kind of like filler. But anyway, they were great to read on a stint, good for passing time and all that ^ - ^

I love the sort of...intensity of Tigerstar in this picture. Even though I imagine him quite differently, you still really caught his character. As for the technical aspect, it's very soft and smooth as always!
