the part which seems overlayed is the topmost tread which seems to fade into her face...other than that though...i like it, very cool

I really like this manip...Indeed its a bit too much overlayed, but still that gives the image a very differnt look that any ordinary manip which includes metal. I like the metal detail in the background and I love that its black, cause this brings more intensity to her face which is 
Bronze overlayed tones constract well to my eyes with the pink on her lips..I really like it..Its different and I love things that aren't ordinary!!

puts me more in mind of a collage rather than a traditional manip. i like the wavy watercolor look her right eyebrow has. with he nice tones and color fades, i wish the background wasn't so almost entirely stark black. i'm surprised she gave you her image to work with---i imagine you had to cajole her into it. where did you get the bolted metal overlay from?

i wondered about that but when i firdt thought treadmarks i thought of the marks themselves rather than the treads and that's not what they looked like----these look rather brassy at that, i take it you altered their coloring.

Quite an interesting manipulation you've got here. The metal part over the right side looks too overlayed, but still, it looks pretty alright. Very rusty/grungy type of feel to it.
