Sapphire blinked. “You have pink fur?”
“Oh, no!” Said the girl. “I dyed it pink! It’s blue, just like yours!”
“Well,” said Krystal, “I’m still surprised to meet you! Say, did you know who made you?”
The girl shrugged. “The only clue I had it’s that the people working in the lab mentioned a Director Firestone several times.”
Krystal and Sapphire exchanged glances.
“So that guy is up to no good again, uh?” Said Sapphire.
“It seems that way,” answered Krystal. Then, she turned towards the girl. “Well, welcome to planet New Hope. You’re going to need a name.”
The girl nodded. “I see. Well, I always liked Cindy!”
Krystal smiled and extended her right arm. “Nice to meet you, Cindy!”
