Description
You left me,In the dark,
To rust and fall apart
I know many people don't see my beauty
But why do you punish me?
You made me to hold them and comfort them with glee
Yet you don't want to see
So you push me into a corner
And hope that I won't corrode
Your own memories of them alone
Some I helped dance
Some I sw you hold down
Some I held in delicate balance
And some you've made frown
And now I sit here alone
So cold and withered
My joints creak as I roll
These walls hold so many memories
as do I and we don't envy
The history you've made
In the cause of betterment
Because some of your treatment
Was all too barbaric
And yet now that is all memories
Left for me
And the walls to see

I honestly prefer the first version. The length of the piece in the first version isn't bothersome at all. I feel like it caters more to the curiosity in the mind you have after looking at the photograph. The photograph alone raises questions and emotions the heart and mind want answers or something to hold onto, and the picture the original piece creates in the mind satisfies it. I have something to ask you too.

Well it's not that I don't like the first one, I love them both I just happen to think that the rhyming of this one is a bit better, and seeing as how this one is talking about the emotions of the chair itself as it's been dejected because we want to forget our past monsters the shorter length adds to the decay of the memories I think. I'm glad you liked both of them though
