Character Background

Rebecca was born one of two twins who were orphaned at an early age.  Raised in a foster home she and her sister were both kept inside because they were known to terrorize the children; when they became older they started to terrorize the staff as well. Her sister learned to use her body to her advantage better than Rebecca

Her sister completed her education, with flying colors while Rebecca failed out, unable to cope with her sister's success Rebecca became a prostitute.  It was through this choice that she learned men enjoyed being dominated and took the route of becoming a professional Dominatrix

She became rather famous in the world of BDSM and through her fame and travels Met Demeter Persephone Jones, the two becoming fast friends

Character Description

Rebecca is tall many men would call her Amazonian, her body is curvaceous and strong, giving no illusions to being weak or timid.  Her skin is white, having spent many a day indoors, refusing to venture outside into the Sun's blistering embrace.  Her hair honey blond and her eyes pale blue all of these characteristics have left many of her clients calling her a Succubus or Goddess in the flesh

Quotes

"I am cold, heartless and entirely without regret; the best part is, you'll fall in love with me."

Why are every single one of your characters some form of pagan?

Why does 'spiritualist' automatically equate to 'pagan'? But thank you for pointing that out; she worships the Norse Pantheon, specifically following Freyja. Her spirit animal is the wolf, because as Freyja serves Odin, so does Becca.

It does, because pagan is literally defined as any religion that's not.,.. I think it was Buddhist, Jewish, or Christian? Look it up. Then again, supposedly an orgy is four people in a room without socks, so....

I got an answer on that, by the way - and it wasn't an offended one, it was just that those religions are just what he knows best.

Any religion that isn't Christian, Jew, or Muslim. Basically, any religion with more than one God. But Spiritualist =/= Pagan, because spiritualism, like Buddhism, is not a religion.

And I apologise if my answer came across as offended; it was not intended as such.

Spiritualism, as I understand it, is a loose nature religion - but I could be wrong. I'm pagan, but not spiritualist. It did come across as very offended, so I'm glad to hear you're not. ^^ I understand - that happens to me all the time. Something I said comes across as angrier than I intended. XD

Spiritualism is literally the beilef of spirits, if you like; its another misunderstood term. Wicca is the loose nature religion you're thinking of (yes, I do know all this; it was fun to put teachers in their place, back when I was at Catholic High school...)

Wicca isn't loose - it just has a lot of different paths. I would know, I follow Seax-Wicca. And doesn't a belief in spirits by definition make it a religion? Well, not in and of itself, but the main reason for religion of to explain why things happen, and a belief in spirits implies an answer to that question.

Religions require a deity, but an afterlife does not.

Not all religions have a deity. What about shintoism? That's clearly defined as a religion, but they have... spirits, more than gods.

Hm, that is a fair point. *shrug* I'd always understood 'spiritualism' to be something akin to Buddhism, but that's probably just my catholic upbringing. Bastards always mislead.

Haha, I was wondering about that. We have a spiritualist camp near where we live called Cassadega - and they pray to Spirit. They have a church, and a reverend. But I thought maybe they were a different kind of spiritualist.

... maybe they're just a different kind of Christian. Although, funny thing about Christianity; not asingle thing about the religion is original, its all stolen from older religions...

-shrugs- They can believe what they like, it doesn't bother me much. I only object when they hurt other people with their beliefs, and happily, they no longer do that very often.

It's true, though. You try to talk to a Christian about Zoroaster, and the results are funny.

I've actually had that one with my parents - they're catholic. My Dad is a staunch cathlic, but he does accept that most of the beliefs come from other cultures.

well every single one of my characters had been bisexual up til this one. I don't know it's probably because i feel that writing a christian or atheist is hard and i deal with what i know..

Well, challenge yourself. You've gotten entirely too comfortable with these religions.

uh....it's kinda hard to write someone with a religious background of chrisianity into a book involving bdsm/fetish i mean..yeah..i just put down spiritualist as a default because most of my characters are not in organized religion...
