Transformers G1 Bonecrusher

FUNCTION: Demolitions

"Hit it till it stands no taller than dust.”

Bonecrusher finds beauty in rubble-strewn wastelands and longs to transform pretty much any location he happens across into one. Moreover, he makes demolition into a wild performance art. He loves to show off his destructive talents for his fellow Decepticons. Deep down, his destruction is really a perfectionism that cannot tolerate anything that he views as flawed, which includes the Autobots. Megatron values the fear and destruction Bonecrusher creates as much as the resources harvested in his wake. Now if he could just refrain from destroying buildings the Decepticons actually need. Bonecrusher combines with his fellow Constructicons to form the left arm of Devastator.

This is something I been working on for a while, doing all six Constructicon Transformers in SketchUp 3D and ultimately making Devastator with them in all his glory. I used the real life G1 (Generation One) toys to make these as toy accurate as possible, but it's been really difficult getting these guys and their parts to actually line up correctly and fit them all together. As of now I'm still in the process of making each robot and when I'm done I will upload all their 3d models, and of course the finished Devastator to 3d Warehouse for everyone to see and play with. I'm holding back on them because I want to make sure they all fit together and line up in the end, and if I have to go back and change something I won't have to delete a model, make a change, and reupload it again if I screwed something up. So stay tuned for updates.
