So I originally did this in order to have an avatar, but I really liked how it turned out and you also don't take a 2048x2048 image, scale it down to 50x50 and never have anyone see it in its full glory, do ya? Maybe I'll shade it sometime, too, we'll see.What bugs me a little is how the dark blue color is eating the line art when the image is scaled down to avatar size. The yellow one for example looks way better when scaled down. Ah well, maybe I should reconsider my favourite color
.So, did this in GIMP, using my Logitech MX510 mouse on the Everglide Titan super-giant-monster mousepad. Took me way too long again, probably 10-20 hours, but after all I'm having fun doing this, so: yay!

What a very nice take on Blue Yoshi, literary, the title should be Blue Yoshi, because Yoshi (as in the green Yoshi) is not pictured.

You did this in gimp? looks almost flash. Though I could do the same in opencanvas with this brush.
Still, very nice. Looks like a mix of Mario world yoshi and yoshi story yoshi.

Well, in retrospect, it would've been a lot easier if I had just done it in a vector graphics application, but I didn't want to start over at that point

I really just want to use it as a picture - I won't modify it in any way, since to me it seems perfect as is - only, without wings, which I can deal with. Maybe use it as an avitar too.
