The Caretaker Imperial Nomadic Alliance's Ranger Division fill in many gaps in the Caretaker Defence Force (in other words they do a multitude of things in the military of the caretaker Imperial Nomadic Alliance). They are the scouts, commandos and special operatives of the Caretaker Imperial Remnant. Doing recon ahead of the main invasion force in enemy territory, eliminating key enemy targets, even sometimes acted as Shock Troopers when deemed necessary. the Caretaker Rangers could do almost anything. The only thing preventing them from becoming one of the elitist units in the Caretaker Imperial Nomadic Alliance was the fact the Rangers need active recruitment. They were crucial for the Caretaker Remnant during the Second Remnant War in the Ascendant Theatre (where the Caretaker Remnant fought the Galactic Ascendancy, and then destroyed it). The Caretaker Ranger Division also served with the Orion Spur Alliance's Division 1 on multiple occasions. The Caretaker Ranger Division is crucial to the United Imperial Remnants in a lot of ways.

The Rangers are able to have added equipment as well, some have macro-binoculars added to their helmets, some have ordinary binoculars added to their helmets, sometimes a torch. Many wear an all purpose backpack, meanwhile on certain missions they'll use parachutes. The Ranger's armour is also personalised for every mission.

The z-45 Dropship was designed by Cygnus Spaceworks for the Caretaker Imperial Nomadic Alliance's Ranger Division. Able to carry twelve rangers at once the Z-45 was a capable dogfighter for a dropship. However it was designed to be a dropship so it was recommended that pilots DON'T engage in dogfights, for good reason as well because how are their troops gonna get to the objective in time?.

The Z-45 droship wasn't the only troop transport used by the Ranger Division, but was exclusively used by the Caretaker Ranger Division. Equipped with two repeating Medium Laser cannons the Z-45 has some anti-vehicular abilities, as well as two modular pods embedded into the dorsal surface that could be switched with missile launchers, extra laser cannons, even an extra hyperdrive or extra crew space for longer flights. INCLUDING a small kitchen module and a bathroom module for longer trips).

The Z-45 has two engines in the two back prongs, small but strong and effective, as well as efficient. The landing ramp is also toward the back of the ship. The United Imperial Remnants sees the dropship as a possible candidate for being the design basis of another troop transport variant.
