Description
Fang was a Major that was part of the 1000th Legion. The first battle of his life was, the First Battle of Geonosis, where he was able to demonstrate his full potential as a fighter and leader. He fought fiercely, demonstrating his enormous strength of warrior spirit. He also served as a great inspirational force for the men who accompanied him.
After the first battle, Fang would be transferred to a sub-unit of the 1000th legion, the 993th Regiment, a regiment led by Commander Naos.

Fang would be placed in the Devil Beast Battalion, the main battalion of the 993th Regiment. This battalion was led by Commander Leonid, a man who served as a great source of inspiration for Fang. Through countless battles, Fang followed Leonid's orders without ever questioning or doubting his abilities.
Over time Fang became Leonid's most trusted man, he was even seen as second in command in the battalion.
In the middle of the second year of the Clone Wars , the Regimental Commander Naos would be promoted to Senior Commander and as a reward for his achievement, he would be given a newly created legion. With the departure of Naos from the 993th Regiment, there was a need to find someone new to become the leader of the regiment, so at Naos' suggestion, Leonid would be promoted to Regimental Commander, thus becoming the new leader of the 993th regiment.

With Leonid's sudden promotion, this time it would be the Devil Beast Battalion to lose its leader, but Leonid would quickly and without a second thought pass command of the battalion into Fang's hands. Fang was hesitant to accept his promotion, fearing he would not be up to the task, but Leonid soothed him by saying that he was the best person to be in command of the battalion. Leonid would not entrust the leadership of the battalion to anyone but Fang. Fang then accepted the post, and led the battalion throughout the remainder of the war.
