Malboro, first appeared in Final Fantasy II (Not IV for the SNES, II for the NES). It is a plant monster with vile breath and a penchant for spitting acid.

It's that f*cking Malburo plant! That's the thing that's impossible to kill in FF8 without it using Bad Breath! In FF9, it's easier to beat it and FF10, it's just as hard as FF8 because of Bad Breathe! Took me forever to catch that thing in 10 and get Doomtrain in 8 because you have to steal from it!
