I've had a few different people comment/worry that Megamind may have taken over the place of, "Fandom Numero Uno," in my heart, kicking Synlet out in the process.Don't worry, I'm still very much a fan.
And also, to clear up some confusion, this is just another aspect of their Love-Hate relationship. They don't really hate one another, they just like to snark at each other and pick fights until one or the other gives in...or Syndrome tries to shut her up with a kiss. Muahaha. *coughs* Anyway...
Syndrome and Violet belong to Brad Bird and Disney. ^^
Note: KapitanLefty pointed out that Violet was a tad small in relation to Syndrome's height...so I cheated and made her bigger with the transform tool in Photoshop. ^^ Love that program. <3
Note 2: As for why Syndrome is wearing a Megamind shirt...plot device, Mr. Frodo, plot device. Also, I'm just waiting for Buddy to pull off a, "Well excuuuuuse me, Princess," any moment.

Bahaha! More Synlet is wondrous. I need to get back to work on my stuff. I'm slowly regaining steam, and I might have enough inspiration to crank out a new chapter.
Once my stress stops killing my creativity anyway.
Also, I really like Violet's outfit! The shirt in particular has an interesting design that I appreciate.

It was fun to design, and I've really been trying to work on things like cloth creases and stretchy fabric. I think I did an okay job here, but more practice would be fun, too. *does a thumbs up*

Oh, oh, oh! Crispy's work is awesome too. I forgot about her because she hasn't posted any Synlet for a while. I really like her work, but yours feels more "normal," which means I can better immerse myself in the work.
I mean, usually I dislike "more than crack or pretty" Big Bad/Hero pairings because I find them so implausible and counter to the characters' personalities. This is especially true if one has tried to kill the other. Therefore, it's harder for me to get into work where the characters are obviously from the canon universe or otherwise have their canon personalities.
With your work, the setting is still blatantly The Incredibles; you aren't some cheap fanfiction writer whose "AU" is from a story in name only, but it's otherwise completely unrelated. On the other hand, your work is more "slice of life" than a lot of other work I've seen, so I can more easily accept a change in personality or even an alternative universe where Syndrome isn't such a jerk.
So yeah, I love Crispy's work because it's super pretty and thoughtful (and I adore Synlet baby Robin), but I like yours a little more because I don't have to suspend as much disbelief.

I really like the way you drew their clothes in this picture. And... maybe it's just me... I'm no art critic but... it's just... buddy's arm, the one closer to violet seems a little stiff. Maybe it's because she's invading his personal space. It just seems like a big contrast between the one arm dangling off the table. Like i said, could just be me but if you want a smidge of constructive crit, there it is. Maybe it would look better colored ^^!

Hmm... *looks at it for a few minutes* Well, I know that I meant for his hand to be propped up on his knee, locking the elbow. But do you mean the actual line of movement? O__o? And no worries about the constructive criticism--every little bit helps. ^^
Erm...colored is a no. *laughs* Most of my recent drawings were created during classes and church in order to stay awake, so most coloring is unfortunately unlikely. Still, I'll pass the message on to my friend who likes to color my artwork when she's bored at work.

Hm.. I don't know... I guess I was assuming his arm was kind of dangling, I hadn't thought of the possibility that he had locked his elbow. But if he did lock his elbow, wouldn't his arm be pointing out, not coming toward the page?
