Description
This was reaaaaally fun to draw, but definitely an old, half-finished concept. As in, I originally created it back when I first started getting into the fandom (hence the shape of Violet's face, and the fact that her reaction to the dress is straight out of, "Masks"), but I didn't finish drawing and inking it until...last week, I think.Pleased enough that I may actually make a few more similar setups (Avatar the Last Airbender, Hey Arnold, etcetera).
Also...CHEAP GRADIENTS! Give me a "woot" if you freaking love them.
Miss Scarlet is the piece I always play. Serbus usually played Mrs. Peacock growing up (blue being her favorite color [link] [link] ).
~/~/~
I chose for Helen to be Peacock rather than Scarlet (in keeping with her original Elastigirl outfit) based on a detail from our board game growing up: Peacock has short, red hair, and seems to be an older woman. [link] Also, I think she looks good in blue.
Buddy as Plum is a no-brainer. Because even though he is sometimes shown as an older gentleman, more often than not he has become a Geeky younger guy with funny hair: [link] (Same link as before, but scroll down: [link] ) Funny red hair. [link] [link] [link] And the idea of making him a "Professor," after basically being a mad scientist was really too much to pass up on.
Bob being Mustard was also an obvious one, and needs no explanation (except to say, yes he got colored pants. So that the jacket would look less horrible). XD
Scarlet was, too, since 80% of all Scarlet characters have black hair (the originals being blonde, but switching over). Case in point: [link] (And it was an excuse to put an awkward Violet in a pretty dress, with Buddy hitting on her.
Lucius and Mirage were chosen as Mr. Green and Mrs. White, respectively, due to the similarities in style to their normal clothing. But this is an ironic set of details: [link] Note Green and White, particularly White's sleeve. This is coincidental, although my design is inspired by the real "Mrs. White," ala Clue movie fame [link] , so they may have somewhat taken their design from her, too. *smiles*
Mirage's dress was the easiest outfit to create with Lucius' being the hardest, what with his lanky frame. Buddy's was difficult as well, but mostly because I had to figure out what shadows would work for a suit coat.
All in all, though, it was a total lark. =^__^= And kind of my present to myself for doing my final and getting an A on my Newsletter project.

WOOT! I've always envisioned him as Plum, too, including when I was considering doing a Dark Calamity Clue game. XD I always play as Miss Scarlet as well. The first time I played I found out that it said in the rules that she went first and everyone accused me of cheating. Another time I won the game by guessing everything correctly in three moves. Still not sure how I did that.
I really like how everything looks, especially Buddy. Eeeeeehee.

Yay, I'm not the only one! (For both the Plum thing and the Scarlet thing. Isn't she a fun character to play?)
That's because you're a plot ninja. Nuff said. -__- *nods wisely*
Thank you, thank you! *squees happily*

I am a game ninja in general. I beat a game of Guess Who in one guess, too.
...on the same day. Maybe I was just feeling particularly psychic or something. XD

Ironically, in my three turn wonder game I'm pretty sure I was the one guilty.

...that happened to me in the 1920's Vampire Murder Mystery game. O__o I realized it was me about 3/4 the way through, and then accidentally revealed myself.

Then my work here is done. Tehehe. I think I may do the same theme, only in other fanverses. Like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Hey Arnold, etcetera.
