To be honest, I think specific people watch me on Sundays, knowing that I'm going to draw something. And I don't know if that makes me a bad example, or not...?

The kids in the back are Kaning (girl) and Roka (boy). And so it is that the boy in "The Second to Last Airbender" grows up.

Title inspired by Kathy Mattea, the artist whose songs "Dance a Little Closer" and "Where've You Been?" also inspired the image itself. Aang, Katar, the Southern Air Temple, and Appa all belong to Mike, Bryan, Nickelodeon, and Viacom. Kaning and Roka belong to me.

"You see, Aang," 'he'd begun slowly, as though tasting his words before spitting them out,' "he saved the world, right? But he didn't save the world, for the worl'd sake. He saved it so that Katara would be saved. He saved the world for Katara's sake."

'Even years later and feet taller, I'll never forget what my Uncle said. Because it was that day that my father changed from being just my dad, or even the Avatar. But became a hero to me, within my own eyes.'
