Description
I've drawn Persephone in the past. Really, I have. And I honestly love the designs that I originally created with the Disney version in mind (normally hidden in the background of the end scene in Hercules, hiding behind her green-skinned, red-haired mother. Look for the pink blonde with the big hat).[link] and [link]
Then later I created a modified version, more in my regular style of art, that's quite a bit more expressive in emotion.

So this was an attempt to meld the two separate styles of Persephone. And I think it turned out rather well. ^^
Persephone belongs to...erm...the Greeks ("Proserpine" if you're going Roman.
Also, as a note. This version of Persephone has a different storyline, in which she is pretending to be her friend, Iris, (who has a free pass to the Underworld so that she can collect water from the River Styx, by order of Zeus. Weird guy, Zeus) posing as Hades' new Public Relations director.
Hence the Fantasia-influenced, rainbow-styled dress. And the "staff" necklace, which makes her look like she works for the hospital. XD

I agree about the hat...
The snake staff thingy I believe is called a caduceus if I spelled that right. Just so ya know.

It's even worse in the scenes Disney shows her in ([link] 6:18-6:22, the girl in the back with blonde hair and pinks skin). XD Poor kid.
And that sounds about right. ^^ I knew that there was a name for it, I remembered reading said name...and then promptly didn't care to re-research it upon posting the image. Laziness wins out, unfortunately. *laughs in embarrassment*

Oooooooohhh~ I like this design a lot more. And I'm glad you're still keeping your curvy style while still staying true to the Disney Hercules style. It looks really nice!

Thank you! ^^ And yeah, I'm glad that I was able to mold the two styles so that it still feels like her appearance works in the show, while still being easy and fun for me to draw. Thank you, little sis!
