"What Could Have Been."

My headcanon says that (had things been different) they would have had at least two children, and a rather entertaining life together (given their connections). Also, Tauriel would have essentially been adopted into the Dwarven clan (after some grudging beginnings), given that she has no family of her own, but they half-raise their children in the Elven style as well.

This is Eliel (Star (êl) Daughter of / Girl (iell)), their second-born. With slight side-burns to satisfy my desire for Lady Dwarf beards. ^^

And here’s the dialogue:

Eliel—“I’m either the shortest Elf in existence or the tallest Dwarf.”

Kili—“Tallest Dwarf! Good news is, you can pass for a human.”

Eliel—“Thank you, Father.”

Tauriel—“Kili. I’m not sure if we require that kind of assistance from you…”
