So reignoverme/ has this really awesome Kiliel one-shot titled, "Hands," ( reignoverme.tumblr.com/post/73… ) and I was torn over whether to write a review on Tumblr or leave one on AO3.

Then I decided on expressing my joy another way. XD

So here you go, another present!

The hardest part was getting their poses correct. First we've got, "He stood up and closed the distance between them. He liked how this way he could look into her eyes without standing on his tiptoes." And then there's "They stayed like this for a long time - foreheads touching, one of his hands cradling her cheek and the other one entwined with hers while their breaths mingled in the warm air between them. The only sound was the crackling of burning wood from the fireplace, but then Tauriel filled the room with one of her bell-like laughs." So it was a tad difficult at first. XD Mostly the foreheads-touching thing. I don't often have characters touch this much, so I really had to figure out how to balance their anatomy.

I think I did an okay job, though.

Anyway, this is my version of the scene. And I tried ultra/i)-hard at getting the lighting at least somewhat correct. XD That being said, I really enjoyed making this. Even if my back hurts from crouching over it. *laughs*

And the perspective is so glaringly wrong. XD
