Everyone has a side of them few have ever seen...Critique and comments are EXTREMELY welcome!!
Since quite a few people have asked, I tought I should add that this is a self-portrait.

I think using the red lipstick was a great idea, but it might have suited it better if it was a little darker red?

Interestingly enough, it took a very long time to actually find a red that was even close to the colour of the mask. I brought it with me to the cosmetics store and this was the closest I could find.

this is a very breathtaking picture. the colors work together quite well. the white skin and red mask really bring out the color of your eyes. amazing

Love the feathers.I did something like this but I didnt make a mask - god knows why not - and instead stuck all the feathers on to the models face individually!

I just looked at your page and I find it amazing some of the similar ideas we have. Your ID with the black skin and the jewels around the eyes is amazingly similar to an idea I had and photographed a while ago but never posted. I did exactly the same thing with the black makeup, but instead I purchased teardrop-shaped jewels and put them beside only one eye. Also, I used silver mascara instead of white (though there isn't much difference between the two colours). Even our eye-colours are almost the same. Sorry if I'm boring you telling you this, but I find it amazing. I suppose as they say: great minds think alike!

This is a very striking self-portrait! I love how the little details of the mask pull you into the center. They almost look like dragon scales or phoenix feathers. Beautiful work, I will now peruse the rest of your gallery.
