It is a personal opinion on what I would never buy and see no reason to buy.

Well, on a more serious note...
I personally think that messy lineart should be added to this least. I've seen some adoptables with lineart so messy you really couldn't tell what it was.

Also , some people sell batches but all of them are just ONE different colour XD

And yeah. I don't mind colors that stand out from the rest of the fur designs but it's obviously nicer if it fits with the rest of the colors too so they don't make people's eyes bleed.Β

similar markings are okay just not 5 cats on the same adoptable sheet with the same markings colored in different colors.Β

Yeah I also think that some animals at used to often I understand making diffrent felines or canines but other species are used to often now and so ideas for thoughs adoptables all seem to copy at least one other adopt.

And I totally agree. I've seen everything from eyes, wings and butts adoptables.Β
But honestly I like full body better as you really see what the artist was thinking in the first place instead of making a wild guess.
Then you can add and remove to your heart desires.
It is also easy to find a nice free lineart if you are unsure about your own drawing skills but want to give it a go.
I personally design easier on other people's lineart for some reason. c;

And yeah that is the problem. They can look pretty but depending on the texture it's hard to draw the design and at some point you give up and you really have no use for the character. I don't mind when people use textures creatively, but they will still be hard to draw later if at all possible without using the same texture. That's why I let texture simply stay texture.

Another thing that kind of irks me on adoptables is shading - it's nice that people put effort in them but when it makes the markings harder to see or you can't pick the colours properly, it's not very useful.

xD It really doesn't have anything to do in an adoptable if it makes you unsure of the colors in the design. ^v^;;
If they use their own lineart or it's obvious they shaded it themselves you could always ask for an unshaded version I guess. but it shouldn't have to go that far when it's so easy to avoid. c;
